day 131

well this week has been really slow for the work but it went by really fast. it seems like two days ago we were here and didn't have enough time again!
haha thats awesome that you were able to get a new washer and dryer!!!! i have been waiting for you to get one and now you get one while im out! ha oh well. are you planning on moving while we are out?

so gary finally got a birdie? does he have more than one? and when you told me that his name is "the baron" i immediatly thought of the pizza. :) hahahaha

which cousins came over? and i can't wait to have those songbooks! every time we are in sunday school we can hear the primary kids sing and they are singing the same songs that we sung when i was just in primary and i sing along and makes me miss teaching and being with all those goofy kids! :)

ha i was reading that scripture a couple o days ago and thought of why i picked that one and i was really glad that i did. it is a beautiful verse and it makes me think of the power behind it. we have been focusing our efforts on the book of mormon and i have had my testimony grow so much about the book of mormon and how powerful it is in the conversion of our investigators. Sister Bowen, (Elder Bowen of the seventy's wife) told us that if our investigators have their testimony based on the book of mormon they will always be faithful in the church. What a promise!!!!! so powerful. i encourage you guys to gain an even greater testimony of the book of mormon. it has increased my knowledge and faith so much and i want that for you as well.

so i was told that christian wouldn't be able to call home on christmas if he is still in the MTC cause there would be too many people calling home. so hopefully he will be in the Phillipines before christmas cause then i would be able to call him as well. your letter that you sent to me last about christian  and him hurting his leg or something like that. what happened?

anyways...i love and miss you all and hope that you had and have a wonderful thanksgiving and an even better christmas.

love
Elder Jens Smith
