day 168

hey everyone. this week has been fast and slow. the fast part about it was that we found another investigator but we have not been able to get ahold of him and set something up with him. that may be because of the holiday and so we are going to wait till the holiday rush is over and people can get settled down. new years was awesome!! we were allowed to stay up till midnight that night but we had to be in by 6 again so i just read and read in my book of mormon and i finally finished it at 11:00 12/31/2011. it was awesome!!!! wooohoooo!!! haha anyways. momma im going to send you home my whole suit that we bought and also some other things in there so you should be getting it either on saturday or monday.  haha thanks for the regards Brother Herrin. :) yeah the wind has been really bad here too! i think the wind might have even started a fire on someones garage or storage space. don't know how it happened but it did.

yeah when we were in the MTC we really were thankful that we weren't having to learn a different language. we realized that they really have to go through a lot to be able to keep up with the language. just tell him that really cool people are and did go to that mission. John Bytheway went there. he talks about it all the time in some of his talks. i thought that you said that his bishop or branch president was josh ostler. is he not? hmmm...

haha alrighty im excited for those cardigans. :) haha remember what the nelson boys wore when cristin got married. the gray ones. thats what they look like. anyways.

i can't wait to get sis. gardiner's talk. testimonies are awesome and someone who can speak on them and have their friends send a copy to their missionary sons out in iowa (and maybe the philippines) must mean that it was a super powerful talk. :) im excited!

i can't wait to hear back from you and hope that you all have had a wonderful new years! hope your new years resolutions haven't already been broken like they usually are for me. :) haha love and miss you all. you too momma.
