day 269

well this week has been super slow!!!! oh man. all my companions seem to have something hindering them. elder excell broke his foot the day before he got transferred out of Knoxville, elder Kendell had a lame shoulder and couldn't do very much, elder Briggs had a lame shoulder and had to go home and now elder folsom has a sickness that makes his muscles so sore and they hurt him so bad!  i don't think i have gone out to exercise once since i have been with elder excell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel like im going crazy cause i want to do something in the morning but i can't leave my companion! it is really getting hard cause we are going home so much because elder Folsom is hurting really bad and i think it's really taking a tole on me! i really hope that the next companion i get will be fit and will work out with me in the morning. :/

yesterday was super spiritual and i love the lesson in sunday school! it was a little off of the manual but it was still centered on Christ's Resurrection. our teacher reminds me of brother eckstein the English professor at BYU in our home ward there.

well thats all i have for now. sorry for the short letter. i love you all and will get those pics up right now. love you momma! love you dad.

love

  1. I think we need to send you a jumprope :o)

Hang in there! I am grateful you are healthy and strong. A broken foot is awful ... ask Jenna ;o) She has been pretty positive through it all. Yesterday we (Jenna, Jaley and I) went to visit one of my old YW at Craig Hospital here in Denver - she is now 21. Brittney fell 60 feet rappelling in St. George a month ago. The miracle is she survived. Brittney is a marathon runner and on the track team for Utah State. She is currently paralized from the waist down. Jenna was so moved and touched by Brittney's positive attitude that she (Jenna) wanted to have the same cheerful outlook.

I bet your positive and cheerful attitude help lift your companion(s) spirit(s). You are there for a reason - I know that. People are drawn to your positive outlook. That is probably why you are serving with them at this moment. The healing process is so much more efficient and effective when surrounded by positive influences. I see how difficult it is on Jenna (and Brittney) ... they need our cheerful positive reassurances, and we need them - their example of faith and endurance. It is amazing how we need each other to grow.

    xoxo
