How does the mission home work with getting your mail? Do they forward it on? like through the mail service? Or do they just hold on to it until you "happen" to go up there? Or do they wait until your pday to give you things? I was thinking that you/they might wait until wed. when you go to des moines to do exchanges you might pick up some things then. (crossing my fingers)
So you send the things to the mission office and then when they get the things they cross out their address on it and put a sticker with our address on it and send it off to our apartment. it only gets delayed about a day from the time they receive it there at the mission home.
I sent tons of letters last week, hope you get them...did you finally get the package?
Um...i don't know what letters you are talking about. If they are the post cards from ryus and those guys then yes i got those other wise no i haven't gotten any letters and yes i did get your package.
Is today the day that you get to go to Nauvoo?
Well...today was supposed to be the day we went to nauvoo but our mission leader got sick again and one of the guys who was going to go didn't want to go any more so i think that our nauvoo trip is going to be a fake out. hopefully i'll be able to go soon.
How was your week?
my week was great! we had another spiritual excperince with a lady. i'll tell you more about her in a sec.
Played anymore soccer this last week?
no i haven't played any more since we played with the young men and women but we did go to walmart and buy a ball and i have been running with it and practicing with it when we go out for our morning excercise.
We got a picture sent by Elder E to his mom about how much he "worked" you? Was funny...
yeah i know about it but it was from my backpack being on my back all day. we had walked every where and it was about 110 degrees out mixed with heat and humidity. so it wasn't just from my butt. but my butt didn't make it any better... :( anyways...
Today is a holiday...labor day...are you doing anything special with any of the members?
no we didn't really do anything. we couldn't email cause the library was closed. thats why you didn't get an email yesterday. it was just a normal p day for us though.
