180 days left

hey everyone. this week was awesome! to see everyone come back and to kinda just start over they are having more missionary spirit in them and that also makes us happy with this work. we have been able to see miracles happen and we are now fasting and praying to have a baptism this next weekend! we have a goal of 4 baptisms for the month of jan and we are one away so if we can get this goal we can work that much harder with the zeal that we need towards the goal of 5 for feb! im so stoked for this district!! wow sounds like it was a busy week! (we were in mesquite helping with a soccer tournament this past weekend) haha i just have to say that i love the warm weather and can't wait to have summer again. it was up in the mid fifties saturday and friday! it was sooooo nice! mmm im glad i come home in july. :) haha but anyway...yeah i think i may end up staying here another transfer....thats about it for us here in iowa city!
 i love you so much!

  1. The beginning of the new year is remarkable - the spark to start so many wonderful resolutions and goals.

Our ward had a joint lesson with the youth and adults to inspire and move us forward in missionary work. We were told not to look for missionary opportunities but to create them! What a great way to approach it ... not look, but create!

It wasn't but 2 days later I get a message in my in-box on Facebook from a friend thanking me for the cards and announcements I have sent him. He told me it was a tough year and that maybe it was time to go back to church.

Well ... I gave him the link to mormon.org and told him where and when our sacrament meeting met. I haven't heard back from him, but he does have the information!!!

Here's to a great week for you! We love you. We thank you for your service. xoxo
