being a new district leader im pretty scatter brained but now i have every thing that i need to do right in front of me cause if i didn't have it right there i would be lost. i bought myself a little planner/notebook that i have with me so i can write things down right away so that i can remember them. i really like being organized. haha i love how the mission prepares you for the things that will happen after the mish cause i can say that in high school i was not organized at all!!! oh man i don't know how i made it through that. well i do and it's my parents but if i didn't have them i wouldn't be where i am and prolly wouldn't have done all the amazing things i have been able to do in my life. thank you mother and father. :)
oh man i am getting so ready to be able to play soccer. we are playing more soccer indoors now and it is pretty fun. i do enjoy it. haha but it is definitely not the level im used to playing at in indoor. we played basketball with some elders and some members of their ward and it was intense!!!! i thought of how it be totally different if we were playing soccer. i would be right up with those guys. haha and basketball just isn't my cup of tea although i am getting really good at it. i do like playing it with others and just shooting and getting in my sweet spot where i can rain down three's. :) haha well enough bragging about my nun-chuck skills, bow staff skills, cause.....girls only want guys who have great skills!! ;)
well this is about it for me!! i love you all and can't wait to hear from you next week!!

questions:
Did you get to celebrate all night on new years eve? Were you allowed?
nope. new years eve was the same day as any other day. in by 9 and in bed at 10:30! sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven!!! and those blessings will be needed as we strive for the Lord's baptismal goal for us of 550 baptisms this next year!!! :)
What did you do special this week?
mmmmm....not much. we were able to eat at our branch presidents house yesterday and it was great to be there. nice to have someone to eat with who is older than you. it's just weird some times eating with people my same age and they are making these big meals. haha just something missing.
What service did you do?
well we were able to give a blessing to one of the sisters who got really bad food poisining from HuHot. :( so that was unfortunate but the cool thing was is that she stopped throwing up but the other bad thing is is that she caught another bug cause her body was so exausted from getting ride of the first bug. unfortunate. :(
What was your first district leader lesson on?
my first district training was on following up. cause our mission president told us that for a few months of this last year we didn't do so hot on baptisms and so he said that we over promised and we under delivered so we need to follow up on our promising so that that doesn't happen this year. so it went really well. really felt the spirit there and am now trying to get that fire going in this district to progress the Lord's work.
