day 20

hey mom. yeah i will be leaving my residence here at 5 in the morning and i think our plane will be leaving at like 8:45 and we have a layover in minniapoles and i will call you there as well. yeah i did find the nail clippers and elder herrins first name is andrew. the MTC food is...questionable. some days its really good and some others are disgustingly horrible! haha the other day i got a corn dog and the hot dog inside was all old and wrinkly! disgusting!!! what a perfectly good waste of a corn dog! so anyways...yeah i was just walking to lunch and i saw these girls walking infront of us and then i noticed that the girl in the middle looked like julia and so i yelled "julia" and she didn't turn around so i yelled it again but louder this time and she turned around and was looking around for who called her. haha i started walking over to her and she was like in shock! haha her face was like "i can't believe im talking to you"! haha it was pretty funny. so about the camara...i was thinking i could just send the sd card home if/when you send the other one to iowa. make the old switcheroo. uh my work out/exercise is basically playing soccer at gym almost every day. i can't really do the jump rope thing inside and i didn't really want to go out side to do it. the first few days here we ran a few times but that won't really do anything.

christians job sounds horrible! do you know if he has to work sundays? ask him to ask them for sundays off.

uh well i think thats every thing for now. i love and miss you all so much!!! send me more pics of everyone and stuff like that. and more pics of adi!!! i miss that dog!! ha love you. bye bye. :)

  1. That's my Julia famous Elder Smith is talking about! She called me right after SO excited. It made my heart swell. I love it when she shares her experiences - especially the spiritual ones! She and her friends had just finished volunteering at the MTC as "investigators". She kept telling me over and over that the spirit was so strong. She said she could feel the spirit right when she walked through the gate. She also told me that she felt the spirit so strongly during her time volunteering. She can't wait to go back. And then to top it off, she ran into one of her most favorite people ... Elder Smith.
